Ericka N. Goodman-Hughey is a style savant and culture expert, who has over ten years of experience in media. Her professional career began at Conde Nast Publications, where she was groomed as an Editor at Glamour and Lucky Magazine. Additionally, she has written for various print and online publications, including: New York Magazine, InTouch Weekly, New York Daily News, and MTV Style. Her professional expertise ranges from music and politics, to lifestyle and sports, having interviewed boldface names like: Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Kanye West, Tom Cruise, and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
She is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards Voting Guild, a past winner of Conde Nast Publication’s “Power of Suggestion” Award and a previous Leadership Board Member for the company. Additionally, she prides herself in having conquered the Tough Mudder Obstacle Run in 2013 and two Spartan Sprint challenges in 2014.
The current Harlem resident and New Haven, CT native holds a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from Howard University and a Master of Science in Media Management from the Fordham University School of Business. She is currently the Senior Style and Culture Editor at Ebony Magazine.
